Business Week just revealed their MBA school rankings for 2008. The number one school is again the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business (formerly Chicago Graduate School of Business). Harvard Business School is now number two (up from number four last year), and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management is number three.
Business Week also ranked international business schools this year. Queen’s University in Canada is again the number one international school, and IE Business School in Spain is number two. INSEAD (Singapore and France) is number three (up from number 6 in 2006).
Business Week rankings are considered the most recognized in the US. These rankings are compiled by surveying recruiters from about 500 companies and graduates from 100 top business schools. The number of articles that faculty publish in top academic journals is also important.
